Take the register
Open Attendance, choose the class and the date, and mark each student: present, late, excused, absent or holiday. Mark everyone else present fills the students you have not marked. Save the register. A mark saved earlier for that day is shown and can be changed.
The report
Report shows each class and each student over the dates you choose, with their attendance rate. Rates below 75% are highlighted.
How the rate is worked out
Present, late and excused count as attended. Holidays, and days nobody marked, are not counted at all, so an unmarked day never lowers anyone's rate.
Students
A student sees their own attendance over the last month under My attendance, with every marked day. Where the institute allows it, students can also mark themselves present inside the class window from the place the class is held.
